Bella Frida in 2017

After months of decisions and planning, the final day at this location is rapidly approaching. Our last day will be Monday, December 26th from 11am-6pm. As you can see from the beautiful sign included in this email (and it also hangs in the window of the store – thank you to Lauren of LEK Works http://www.lekworks.com for creating such a wonderful sign!), my future plans are very exciting and will allow me to do the work that I feel so very passionate about. Working more with artisans is at the core of why I opened Bella Frida and to be honest, running a retail store is a lot of hard work! It is time for me to refocus on my passions. My goals for Bella Frida are to continue to offer a curated collection of hand crafted fashion – only it will not be available in a traditional retail space. I am still looking for the perfect smaller space to be my showroom and office. I was hoping to have that space before I left here but it has been too difficult to look while I run a busy retail store. I also look forward to doing trunk shows (at boutiques and customer’s homes) and popup shops. This new format will give me more time and allow me to explore the possibilities of doing clothing designing with indigenous artisans and also offer some product development consulting for nonprofits. And of course, I will be more free to travel!

My experience running Bella Frida over the last 5 years has been invaluable and has opened many doors for me. I have been blessed with such wonderful customers who have continuously supported me on this journey. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️!

I will certainly be in touch in the New Year through the store email list and also Instagram and Facebook. I will announce when I find my location and all of my future events. So please stay connected!
